I'm considering going with dual Lightspeed Plasma 3 ignition systems on the engine. The engine was built and run on the dyno with slick mags.
for the cleveland stroke and rod length are the same as factory. the cylinders were bored 30 over, and we upgraded to a roller cam with more lift and duration. for intake we went from a cast iron dual plane to an aluminum single plane, and from a two to a four barrel carburetor. displacement's just over factory at 357 cubic inches.

Then he tried a tunnel ram on it with the same two 660's and it put out 630 hp @ 6300 RPM. The torque rose to 591 @ 4800 RPM. The torque again was well above 500 all throughout the test range.
For a typical 350 small-block, a dual-plane intake gives great low- and mid-range output while delivering very respectable top-end performance. On the other hand, assuming that the cam allows for such, a single-plane intake can deliver decent low- and mid-range performance while producing great top- end output.
